Raisin-Nut English Oatcakes

   Preheat oven to 180 degrees Celsius.

   In a medium bowl, combine milk and baking powder, mix until well dissolved.

   With an electric mixer, beat butter and sugar until pale and creamy.

   Add the flour, oats, raisins, nuts and milk mixture.

   Mix until everything is well incorporated.

   Roll out the dough on a lightly floured surface to a thickness of about 1 cm.

   With a round cookie cutter of 5 cms diameter, cut circles of dough.

   Arrange them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

   Bake for about 15 minutes until golden.
