Raisin Biscuits

   Sift together dry ingredients; cut in butter with a pastry blender until mixture resembles coarse meal. Add eggs and milk, stirring until well blended. Stir in raisins.

   Turn dough out onto a well-floured surface, and lightly knead 7 to 8 times.

   Roll dough to 1/2-inch thickness; cut with a 2-inch biscuit cutter. Place biscuits on greased baking sheets. Bake at 400u00b0 for 12 minutes or until lightly browned.
