   Mix and cream together margarine and sugar.

   Add eggs and almond extract to creamed mixture.

   Add flour and baking powder.

   Butter a 13 x 9 x 2-inch cake pan.

   Put cake batter into pan; then drop by spoonfuls the pie mixture evenly over cake.

   Bake at 350u00b0 until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
