Heat the oil in a deep fryer or a large pot.

In a large bowl of a stand mixer beat the eggs with sugar until the mixture is light, fluffy and lemon-colored, about 5 minutes. Gradually, add the cheese, flour, margarine, baking soda, and salt. Mix until the ingredients are well combined.

Take a portion of the batter using a tablespoon and drop into the the hot oil. Repeat it several times. Deep fry for about 7-10 minutes, until the doughnuts are golden brown on both sides.

Remove each doughnut from the fat using a draining spoon, and drain on paper towels. Repeat frying until you use up all the batter.
