Quick Baked Beans

   Cut bacon in 1 1/2-inch squares.

   Cook until crisp in microwave oven or fry until crisp.

   Dice onion and green pepper; mix onion, green pepper, syrup, sugar and ketchup together, then pour into beans and mix well.

   Pour bacon grease into beans and mix, then place the squares of bacon over the top of the beans.

   Cook for 45 minutes in a 350u00b0 oven.
