   Wash and boil chana dal in pretty of water till soften

   Strain the cooked chana dal and reserve the water for making Katachi Amti.

   Now grind the chana dal in mixer or with the help of masher.

   Add the mashed chana dal and jaggery in a pan and let it cook slowly.

   Add cardamom and nutmeg powder.

   Stir continuously till the mixture becomes thick.

   Now the stuffing for Puran Poli is ready. Keep it aside

   In a bowl mix wheat flour, whole purpose flour, ghee, water and salt. Knead into soft dough. Seal wrap it and keep it aside for 15 mins.
