Pumpkin Cookies

   Cream sugar, Crisco, egg, pumpkin and vanilla.

   Mix in a separate bowl the flour, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon and salt.

   Combine dry ingredients with the creamed mixture.

   You may add 1/2 cup raisins and/or 1/2 cup chopped walnuts.

   After baking last sheet of cookies, make frosting.
