Ingredients: 2 1/2 c. prunes; 3/4 c. sugar; 1/4 c. water; 2 c. sifted flour; 1 tsp. salt; 1/2 tsp. baking soda; 3/4 c. butter or oleo; 1 c. sugar; 1 1/2 c. flaked coconut; 1/2 c. chopped pecans

Cook prunes, 3/4 cup sugar and water together until tender. Sift flour, salt and soda together.

Cream butter, gradually adding 1 cup of sugar; beat well.
