Prize Oatmeal Cookies

   Preheat oven to 375.

   Mix brown sugar, butter, eggs, and vanilla.

   (It is important not to melt the butter, just soften it a little.

   Melted butter will make your cookies flat.

   Add flour, salt and baking soda.

   Mix in oatmeal and chocolate chips, etc.

   Drop in teaspoonfuls onto greased cookie sheet.

   Bake 10 - 12 minute.

    Take out of oven, cool, and eat 5 at one sitting.

    (They will look a little too soft at first, but continue to firm up as they cool.
