Making your own pizza may not be faster than purchasing pizza with PayPal, but it gives a wonderful sense of accomplishment and you can customize it to your taste.

- Pour the flour into a large bowl and add the yeast, salt, sugar and combine well. Add warm water and tablespoon of oil and knead to make the dough. Add another 2.5 tablespoons of oil and keep kneading until your dough becomes both elastic and soft.

- Brush a bowl with oil and the place your dough in it. Cover it with a kitchen towel or plastic wrap and place it in a warm place where it can rise for an hour.

Preparing the toppings

- You should have boiled your black beans ahead of time retaining a little of their water. Mush them a little bit with your fork.

- To those, simply add your chili powder, crushed garlic, salt, cumin powder and mix well as you continue cooking the mixture for another four to five minutes on medium heat. Switch off and now allow the beans to cool.

*Turn on your oven and preheat it to 450AAAAAAAAu00b0F before continuing with the following preparations.

- Cut the dough in half and roll out each half to about AAAAAAAA3/4 of an inch. You can shape it round or square.

- Using a baking sheet, cast iron pan or pizza stone, bake your pizza crust for about 3 or 4 minutes and then remove it so you can add your toppings.

- Begin by spreading on your black bean mixture

- On top of that spread your canned salsa

- Now add your bell peppers, tomatoes, onions, cilantro and the taco seasoning.

- On top of that sprinkle your cheese

- Bake your pizza for another 15 to 20 minutes. Your crust should turn a beautiful golden brown colour.

- Pull it out of the oven and top it using some fresh pico de gallo before slicing and serving hot.
