1/2 c. chopped onion
1 c. soft bread crumbs
1 (6 oz.) can tomato paste
1 c. water
1 1/2 lb. ground beef
sliced Mozzarella cheese
1 egg
2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. oregano
1/4 tsp. basil

Combine the onion, tomato paste and water in saucepan; simmer 20 minutes.

Mix together the ground beef, egg, bread crumbs, salt, oregano and basil.

Add 1/2 cup prepared sauce and blend well.

Form into loaf.

Place in a 10 x 6 x 2-inch pan.

Bake at 375u00b0 for 50 minutes.
