1 1/2 lb. hamburger
3/4 tsp. garlic salt
2 c. Italian tomatoes
1/4 c. mushrooms
6 rolls or buns
1/2 c. chopped onion
1/4 tsp. pepper
8 oz. tomato sauce
1 tsp. oregano
8 oz. sliced Mozzarella cheese

Preheat broiler.

Mix hamburger, onion, garlic salt and pepper.

Form into 6 patties.

Combine tomatoes, sauce, mushrooms and oregano in a saucepan and heat.

Broil hamburgers until done to your liking.

Place hamburgers on bottom half of bun.

Top with warm sauce, cheese and an additional tablespoon of sauce.

Return to broiler until cheese melts.
