   Brown hamburger, drain well.

   Drain 2 cans of black-eyed peas.

   Combine hamburger, peas, tomatoes and rice in a large bowl; mix well.

   Salt and pepper to taste.

    Place mixture in a 9x13 baking dish; cover with cheese.

    Place in a 350-degree oven for about 30 minutes until cheese is melted and casserole is heated through.
