Pickled Refrigerator Jalapenos

   Put the jalapenos and garlic in a large heatproof bowl.

   In a saucepan set over medium-high heat, combine the cider vinegar and sugar and bring to a rolling boil.

   Remove from the heat and pour the liquid over the jalapenos.

   Let cool for about 30 minutes.

   Spoon the jalapenos into clean screw-top jars, and cover with the liquid.

   Refrigerate for at least 24 hours before serving.

   They will keep for up to 3 months.
