Perfect Refrigerator Rolls Recipe

   In mixer bowl combine yeast and 1 1/2 c. of the flour.

   Heat together lowfat milk, shortening, sugar and salt just till hot, stirring occasionally to heat shortening.

   Add in to dry mix in mixing bowl; add in egg.

   Beat at low speed of electric mixer for 30 seconds, scraping sides constantly.

   Beat 3 min at high speed.

   By hand stir in rest of flour (2 c.).

   Place in greased bowl.

   Lightly oil top of dough.

   Cover and refrigeratein refrigerator at least 2 hrs.

    About 2-2 1/2 hrs before serving, shape into clover leaf rolls and place in greased muffin pans.

    Brush with melted butter.

    Let rise about 1-1 1/2 hrs till double in bulk.

    Bake in 400 degree oven for about 15 min.
