Peppy Mignon's Pepper Steak

   Cut meat into strips.

   Brown in oil.

   Add garlic and onions and cook until they are yellow.

   Add soy sauce, salt and 1/4 C water.

   Cover and cook 45 minutes on low.

   Slice green pepper into strips.

   Add green pepper and mushrooms to meat, etc.

   Add cornstarch mixed in 1 C water and cook 10 minutes.

   Kitchen Bouquet to color gravy.

    Serve over rice or mashed potatoes.

    Can add tomatoes too.
