Pecan Sunrise Coffee Cake

   In a bowl, cream shortening and sugar. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Combine the flour, oats, baking powder and salt; add to creamed mixture alternately with milk. Pour into a greased 9-in. square baking pan. Arrange pecans over batter.

   For topping, combine sugar and orange zest. Cut in butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs; sprinkle over batter. Bake at 375u00b0 for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Cool on a wire rack.
