⅓ cup brown sugar, packed
1 ¾ cups powdered sugar, sifted
1 cup pecans, chopped

Preheat oven to 350 degrees .

In small bowl, stir together flour, baking soda, and salt.

Set aside.

In large mixer bowl, beat 1 1/2 cups brown sugar and butter until combined.

Add egg and beat until fluffy.

Add flour mix and beat until combined.

Stir in 1 cup pecans.

Drop by rounded tsp onto greased cookie sheets.

Bake 10-12 minutes or til bottoms are lightly browned.

Transfer to wire racks and cool completely.

FOR GLAZE:.

In small saucepan combine half and half and 1/3 cup brown sugar.

Bring to a boil, stirring constantly.

Boil for 2 min more, stirring constantly.

Remove from heat and beat in powdered sugar.

Put 1 tsp chopped pecans on each cookie.

Drizzle glaze over pecans.

Let stand at room temp until set.
