Pecan Pie Cake

   Mix well cake mix, 1 egg and 1/2 cup melted butter.

   Reserve 2/3 cup of mixture.

   Spread remaining mixture into 9 x 13-inch pan and bake for 15 minutes at 325u00b0.

   Pour 1 1/2 cups butter, 3 eggs, chopped pecans, vanilla and dark brown sugar on top of crust and bake about 1 hour at 325u00b0.
