Pecan Pie

   Combine syrup, sugar, salt, butter and vanilla and mix well. Add beaten eggs.

   Pour into a 9-inch unbaked pie shell.

   Sprinkle pecans over all.

   Bake in preheated oven at 350u00b0 for approximately 45 minutes.

   When cool you may top with whipped cream (optional).
