Preheat oven to 325u00b0F. Lightly grease a 7 inch square cake pan and line base and sides with parchment paper.

Make cake according to package instructions, using milk, eggs and butter. Transfer to prepared pan and bake for 25 mins.

Meanwhile, to make the crumble, combine flour and sugar. Cut in butter until mixture resembles breadcrumbs. Mix in oats and cinnamon.

Remove cake from oven. Toss pear slices in cornstarch then arrange evenly over top of cake. Sprinkle with crumble. Bake for another 20-25 mins, until a skewer inserted in the center comes out clean. Let cool in pan for 10 mins then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.

Serve in slices with whipped cream.
