2 tsp. soda
1 c. brown sugar
1 c. peanut butter
1/4 c. milk
3 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
1 (11 oz.) pkg. chocolate kisses

Preheat oven to 375u00b0.

Cream together sugar, shortening and peanut butter.

Add eggs, vanilla and milk.

Beat well.

Stir together flour, baking soda and salt and add to butter mixture. Beat well.

Shape into 1-inch balls.

Roll in additional white sugar.

Place on ungreased cookie sheet.

Press candy kiss in center of each cookie.
