Peach Ice Cream

   1. coarsely chop 4-5 lbs peaches (peeling is optional), mix in lemon juice and 1 cup sugar. Let sit for 30 minutes.

   2. Put the cream, milk, vanilla extract, 1.5 cups sugar, and 4 eggs in a pot, and cook at low heat, stirring frequently until the sugar is completely dissolve and the mixture thickens (about 20 minutes). Do not let the milk scald.

   3. Pour the cream mixture over the peaches and refrigerate until chilled.

   4. Put the cooled peaches and cream mixture into an electric ice cream mixer. Seal the top with wax paper and put the lid on. Put the metal cylinder into the mixer and pack the mixer with ice and salt. Let it crank until the mixer stops (15-20 minutes) and let it sit for another 20-30 minutes.
