Payday Bars – a delicious recipe with yellow cake mix, oleo, egg, marshmallows, white corn syrup, oleo. Easy to follow and perfect for any occasion.

1 box yellow cake mix
1/4 c. oleo, softened
1 egg
3 c. miniature marshmallows
2/3 c. white corn syrup
2 Tbsp. oleo
2 tsp. vanilla
1 (12 oz.) pkg. peanut butter chips
2 c. salted peanuts
2 c. Rice Krispies cereal

Blend first three ingredients together well.

Place in ungreased 13 x 9-inch pan.

Bake at 350u00b0 for 15 to 18 minutes. Spread marshmallows on top.

Turn off oven and return pan to oven, until marshmallows are melted.

Melt the 2 tablespoons oleo; add syrup, vanilla and peanut butter chips together.

Add peanuts and cereal; mix well and spread evenly over marshmallows.

Let set. Cut into bars.
