   Spread pecan halves and slivered almonds in a single layer in a roasting pan.

   Bake 10 to 15 minutes, stirring often, until nuts are lightly browned.

   Remove from oven; add popped corn and salt.

   Melt butter and brown sugar in a small saucepan over medium heat.

   Stir in popped corn nut mixture until well coated.

   Bake 10 minutes longer, stirring only once until golden brown.
