Ingredients: 1 lb. mild Italian sausage or ground beef; 1 qt. spaghetti sauce; 1 c. water (may add more); 15 oz. carton Ricotta or cottage cheese; 2 Tbsp. chopped chives or green onions; 1/2 tsp. oregano; 1 egg; 8 oz. uncooked lasagne noodles; 1 lb. sliced Mozzarella cheese; 2 Tbsp. Parmesan cheese

1 lb. mild Italian sausage or ground beef
1 qt. spaghetti sauce
1 c. water (may add more)
15 oz. carton Ricotta or cottage cheese
2 Tbsp. chopped chives or green onions
1/2 tsp. oregano
1 egg
8 oz. uncooked lasagne noodles
1 lb. sliced Mozzarella cheese
2 Tbsp. Parmesan cheese

Cook meat, drain.

Add spaghetti sauce and water.

Simmer 5 minutes. Combine Ricotta or cottage cheese, oregano and egg; mix well.

Spread 1 1/2 cups of meat sauce in bottom of ungreased 9 x 13-inch pan.

Top with 1/2 noodles, 1/2 Ricotta mixture and 1/2 Mozzarella.

Repeat with remaining noodles, Ricotta and Mozzarella.

Top with remaining meat sauce.

Cover and refrigerate overnight.

Bake at 350u00b0, uncovered, 50 to 60 minutes until bubbly.

Let stand 15 minutes.
