Melt the butter and shortening in a shallow baking pan.

Put flour (corn flakes), salt, pepper and paprika in a paper bag. Shake a few pieces of chicken at a time to coat thoroughly.

Place the pieces in the pan; roll in the melted butter, then put them skin side up, one layer deep.

Bake for 50 to 55 minutes.

Brush with butter drippings at intervals. The last 10 minutes cover and reduce heat to 300u00b0.

(To make it different I add a can of tomato sauce those last 10 minutes.
