Oven Apple Butter

   Put cut apples and sugar in a blue granite canner and put in a 300u00b0 to 350u00b0 oven overnight or for 6 to 8 hours.

   When done, run through colander and add cinnamon or spices to suit taste.

   Put in pint jars and pressure to 5 pounds.

   Cool and store.

   It's so simple to make and uses up lots of drop apples.
