1 c. celery, diced
2 green onions, minced
2 Tbsp. vinegar
4 Tbsp. salad oil
4 Tbsp. sugar
1/8 tsp. almond extract
1/2 tsp. salt
dash of pepper
1/4 c. slivered almonds
1 can mandarin oranges

Combine first 3 ingredients in bowl.

Place almonds and 2 tablespoons sugar in small frypan.

Stir over low heat, stirring until sugar is melted, adhering to almonds.
