Old Time Apple Cake

   In a large bowl, sprinkle sugar over apples.

   Let stand 30 minutes or until juicy.

   Stir in eggs, flour, baking soda, cinnamon and 3 tablespoons wheat germ until well blended.

   Turn into 8-inch square baking pan.

   Sprinkle with remaining wheat germ.

   Bake in 375u00b0 oven 30 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.

   Cool on rack or serve warm.
