1 tsp ground cinnamon
1/4 tsp salt
3/4 C molasses
3 C flour
1/2 C sour cream
1/3 C packed brown sugar
1 tsp ground nutmeg
1/4 tsp ground cloves
2 eggs
1 tsp baking soda

In a large mixing bowl, beat butter with an electric mixer on medium to high speed for 30 seconds. Add the brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, salt and cloves. Scraping the sides of the bowl frequently.

Beat in molasses and eggs until combined. Beat in as much flour as you can with the mixer. Stir in remaining flour.

Stir baking soda into sour cream. Stir sour cream mixure into flour mixture [dough will be sticky].

Use a 1/4 C measure or scoop to drop mounds of dough about 4 inches apart onto greased cookie sheets.

Bake in a 375 degree oven for 9 to 12 minutes or until cookies spring back when touched lightly with your finger. Don't over bake. Cool on wire racks.
