Old Fashion Tea Cakes

   Mix the first 4 ingredients together until smooth.

   Then sift 4 cups of self-rising flour and gradually add flour to mixture. Flour your wax paper, then flour dough.

   Roll out, then cut out cookies.

   Then place on ungreased cookie sheet.

   Bake at 375u00b0 for about 10 minutes.

   Sprinkle with sugar, if desired.
