Old-Fashion Pecan Pie

   Add syrup, sugar and margarine in saucepan.

   Boil gently for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.

   Cool slightly.

   Place the broken pecan pieces in the pie shell.

   Mix the eggs, vanilla and salt together, then slowly stir in the cooled syrup.

   Pour over the pecans.

   Bake at 375u00b0 for 35 to 40 minutes or until a tester comes out clean.
