Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Cookies(From Candicci'S Restaurant)

   Mix oats, flour, baking soda and salt in large bowl.

   Set aside.

   With an electric mixer on medium speed, cream butter, sugars and vanilla.

   Stir in chocolate chips by hand.

   Add butter mixture to oat mixture.

   Mix by hand until dough is formed. (Dough will appear crumbly, but keep mixing.)

   Drop by teaspoon onto ungreased cookie sheet.

   Bake at 350u00b0 for 10 to 12 minutes. Makes 3 dozen cookies.

   Makes a flat, thin crisp cookie.
