Nutella And M&M’S Bird’S Nest

   Preheat oven to 350 F. I line my baking sheet with parchment paper. Set aside.

   In a large bowl, mix to combine butter, sugar, egg yolk and vanilla. Work in flour and salt until dough holds together. Shape dough using a teaspoon into 1 inch balls.

   In a separate bowl beat the egg white. Put the chopped nuts in another bowl. Dip balls into the egg white and then roll in your finely chopped nuts.

   Place them 1 inch apart on the baking sheet and press your thumb deeply into the center of each.

   Bake 10 minutes or until lightly browned. Immediately remove from baking sheet and allow them to cool.

   Once completely cooled, add the Nutella and M&M's. Spoon 1 teaspoon of Nutella into the hole in the top of each cookie. Sprinkle M&M's on top of the Nutella.
