Nut Squares(Yield: 3 Dozen. Do Ahead)

   Cream butter and sugar.

   Add flour, egg yolk and vanilla. Spread evenly in bottom of well-greased jelly roll pan (or other pan with low sides).

   Brush top with egg white.

   Sprinkle with chopped nuts.

   Bake at 275u00b0 for 1 hour or until golden brown.

   Cut in squares.

   Store covered for 3 days before serving.
