Noz' Chicken Biryani

   Soak Lentils at least for 4 hours

   Wash chicken pieces and then add these spices and marinade with sour cream.

   Set aside for 4 hours minimum

   To cook: Wash rice and drain your lentils and add to rice and boil with seasoned water.

   When boiling, add spice for rice and let the rice cook.

   Once the rice and lentils are cooked drain water and set aside.

   NB, do not over cook rice

   Heat olive oil, add mustard seeds, garlic and ginger, cumin seeds, curry leaves and a little bit of coriander powder.

   Make sure it does not burn so reduce heat once the olive oil is hot.

    Once the garlic is tender, not burned, add chicken mixture in

    Let it cook until onoins are soft and changed colour

    Add curry powder and papprika, let it cook 5 min, then cut potatoe into half and chuck it in.

    Simmer until chicken and potatoe is cooked and to maintain the juice keep it on the low medium heat.

    Once cooked mix rice in and simmer on a low heat for 10 min then move it from the stove and set aside for at least 5 minutes before serving
