Ingredients: 1 3/16 cups noodles wide ribbon; 2 garlic peeled; 2 3/8 tablespoons pine nuts chopped; 3 tablespoons basil chopped; 1 tablespoon marjoram chopped; 1 tablespoon olive oil; 1 tablespoon warm water; salt; 6 1/2 tablespoons ricotta cheese; 2 tablespoons single cream; 1 3/4 tablespoons butter

1 3/16 cups noodles wide ribbon
2 garlic peeled
2 3/8 tablespoons pine nuts chopped
3 tablespoons basil chopped
1 tablespoon marjoram chopped
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 tablespoon warm water
salt
6 1/2 tablespoons ricotta cheese
2 tablespoons single cream
1 3/4 tablespoons butter

Cook the noodles in plenty of boiling salted water for about 10 minutes until tender.

Meanwhile put the garlic and pine nuts into a mortar and crush them.

Transfer them to a bowl and mix with the basil and marjoram.

Stir in the oil and water and season with salt.

Mash the cheese with a fork add to the herb mixture with the cream.

Stir until smooth.

Drain the noodles return them to the pan and toss in the butter.

Place on a hot dish and serve with the herb sauce poured over.
