Nine Bean Soup

   Sort and wash bean mix.

   Cook with fat meat, after being soaked overnight.

   Add 2 quarts water and the next 4 ingredients. Cover, bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer for 1 1/2 hours, or until beans are done.

   Add remaining ingredients.

   Simmer 30 minutes more, stirring occasionally.
