New England Apple Bean Bake

   Melt the butter in a large skillet.

   Add the apples and onions.

   Cook, stirring occasionally, for 10 minutes, or until the apples are tender.

   Add brown sugar to skillet.

   Stir until dissolved.

   Stir in the catsup, cinnamon, salt and pepper.

   Place the randall great northern beans in a 2 quart casserole.

   Pour the apple mixture over the beans and mix well.

   Bake in a preheated 375 degree oven for 1 hour.
