Place in pot with just enough water to cover.

Stew for 15 minutes or until tender. With biscuit dough rolled into thin strips, grease sides of deep casserole dish and place strips of dough around sides.

Pour in half of the potatoes and juice and spread on top with 1 cup sugar, 1 stick butter and 1/2 teaspoon vanilla.

Layer strips of dough across top, pouring remaining potatoes with juice.

Add 1 cup sugar, 1 stick butter and 1/2 teaspoon vanilla as before.

Cover with strips of dough sprinkled with 1/2 cup sugar.

Cut small piece of butter to place on top.

Cover with tinfoil and cook in 350u00b0 oven for 30 minutes.
