1 c. brown sugar
1 c. white sugar
1 c. butter
2 eggs, beaten
2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. coconut
3 c. quick-cooking oatmeal
1/2 c. chopped nuts
1 pkg. chocolate chips

Blend the brown sugar, white sugar and butter.

Add the beaten eggs.

Sift together the flour, salt, soda and baking powder; add to the sugar blend.

Stir in vanilla, coconut, oatmeal, chopped nuts and chocolate chips.

Mix well and drop by teaspoons on greased cookie sheet.
