1 1/2 lb. hamburger
1 medium onion, chopped
9 crackers, crushed
2 eggs
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/2 c. tomato sauce
1/4 c. water
1 can mushroom soup
1 small can evaporated milk
1 can broken mushroom pieces

Mix all ingredients together and form into patties.

Brown and remove from drippings.

Mix together mushroom soup, milk and mushrooms.

Pour over patties and simmer on top of stove or bake in slow oven for 45 minutes (or microwave 20 minutes or until done).
