["For the cookies:", "Roll out your cookie dough on your work surface. Cut your cookies with an egg-shaped cookie cutter. Bake on a parchment paper lined baking sheet according to the recipe you are using. Cool cookies completely on a cooling rack, then decorate with the cookie icing.", "For the icing:", "Combine powdered sugar, milk, corn syrup and lemon juice in a bowl and mix by hand or with a mixer until smooth. If your icing is too thick, add a little more milk. If it is too thin, add a little more powdered sugar.", "For the assembly:", "Turn cookies with the narrow end of the eggs facing you (the narrow side is the chin). I use a plastic squeeze bottle for decorating these. So fill it with the icing. I snipped a little bit of the plastic tip off to give me a thicker stream for certain cookies. You can also use a baggie with a tiny snip cut off of one corner.", "See related blog link for more visuals of the decoration process. Take the squeeze bottle and zig-zag the white frosting up and down the cookie (to look like the mummy gauze). When you get to where you want to put the eyes, make a sideways ""v"" for the opening. Move on to the next cookie. Once all cookies are decorated, go back and place 2 drops of icing that are about the size of a chocolate chip where you want the eyes to be (in the middle of the sideways ""v""). I recommend that you do 5 cookies at a time and quickly plunk in the inverted chocolate chips for the eyes pressing them into the cookie a bit.", "When you are done decorating all the cookies, go back and drizzle some more ""bandages"" and give it a second coat, for a better effect. Allow the icing to dry completely before storing them. This can take a few hours.", "These are perfect for kids to decorate as well. It doesn't get easier than this when it comes to decorating cookies. My 9-year-old daughter had fun helping decorate these. Hope you and your family have as much fun with these as we did!", "Happy Halloween!"]
