Preheat oven to 425F

Preheat 8 inch cast iron skillet on stove till water dances on surface

Melt butter in skillet

Mix dry ingredients in one bowl

Mix wet ingredients in another bowl

Blend wet and dry together til just blended.....will be a little lumpy

If too thick, add a little extra milk, 1 tablespoon at a time, stir till moistened

Pour mixture into hot skillet

Using an ovenmitt, put skillet in oven.

Bake for 20 to 25 minutes.

Or until toothpic comes out clean when inserted

Serve hot with butter if desired
