Ingredients: ⅝ cup butter; 3 cups sugar; 4 eggs, beaten; 1 quart buttermilk; 2 cups all-bran cereal (pellet shape); 2 cups boiling water; 5 cups flour; 5 teaspoons baking soda; 1 teaspoon salt; 4 cups all-bran cereal (long type); 2 cups raisins (you may substitute blueberries, figs or dried apples)

3 cups sugar
4 eggs, beaten
1 quart buttermilk
2 cups all-bran cereal (pellet shape)
2 cups boiling water
5 cups flour
5 teaspoons baking soda
1 teaspoon salt

Add beaten eggs and buttermilk to butter mixture.

Mix together and let stand a minute the All Bran (pellets) and the boiling water.
