3/4 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon baking pwdr
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon ginger
1/2 c. shortening
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. unsulphered molasses
2 Large eggs
1 1/2 c. quick oats, uncooked
3/4 c. raisins
3/4 c. minced nuts

Set oven at 350 degrees.

Sift flour, baking soda, baking pwdr, salt, and spices into bowl.

Add in remaining ingredients and blend.

To make jumbo cookies, use 1/4 c. dough for each cookie; place on ungreased baking sheets and bake 15 min.
