Miniature Luncheon Muffins

   Cream butter; gradually add sugar, beating until light and fluffy. Add egg, and beat mixture until well blended.

   Combine flour, baking powder, and salt; add to creamed mixture alternately with milk, beginning and ending with flour mixture.

   Spoon batter into greased miniature muffin pans, filling two-thirds full. Bake at 400u00b0 for 12 minutes or until lightly browned.
