   Cream shortening, sugar and eggs.

   Sift dry ingredients, flour, salt and cocoa, and add alternately with sour milk.

   Add vanilla.

   Mix vinegar with soda and add last.

   Bake in 13 x 9-inch greased pan at 350u00b0 until pick comes out clean.
