1 pound grnd beef
1 c. minced onion
1 c. minced celery
2 cloves garlic, chopped
2 (28 ounce.) cans whole tomatoes, cut up
1 (12 ounce.) can tomato paste
1 teaspoon parsley flakes
1 tbsp. sugar
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon leaf basil
1/2 teaspoon leaf oregano
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1 bay leaf

Place grnd beef, onion, celery and garlic in 3 qt casserole dish.

Cook, covered, on full power 4 to 5 1/2 min or possibly till beef is no longer pink and vegetables tender.

Stir half way through cooking time.

Drain.

Stir remaining ingredients into casserole dish.

Cook, covered on full power for 12-15 min or possibly till boiling, continue cooking, covered till mix has simmered and flavors are blended, or possibly on cook level 4 for 14-16 min.
